CryptoGigs: Verify Crypto Payment and Escrow Terms
CryptoGigs is a crypto freelance marketplace connecting clients and freelancers. Supported assets, escrow coverage, verification, payment methods and dispute terms vary by live route.
CryptoGigs is a peer-to-peer services area within CoinExchange.Cash. Listings may be available, but assets, networks, payment, verification, custody, escrow funding, release, refund, dispute, and recovery depend on the enabled live route. Do not infer escrow availability or protection from a 2-of-3 label.
Why Freelance for Crypto?
Traditional freelance platforms charge 20-30% in fees, hold your money for weeks, and require bank accounts. For freelancers in countries with limited banking access, or anyone who prefers the speed and privacy of cryptocurrency, these platforms are a poor fit.
CryptoGigs solves this by connecting freelancers and clients directly, with payments in cryptocurrency and escrow protection where the route supports it — confirm the live route, chain, funded state and recovery terms.
The Problem with Traditional Platforms
| Issue | Traditional Platforms | CryptoGigs |
|---|---|---|
| Fees | 20-30% platform fee | Minimal escrow fee |
| Payment speed | 14-30 day hold | Depends on confirmation and successful escrow release |
| Banking required | Yes | Wallet plus any route-specific payment or verification requirements |
| Chargebacks | Buyers can reverse payments | Blockchain transfers are generally irreversible, though disputes and escrow remedies may apply |
| Access | Limited by banking | Depends on jurisdiction, route, eligibility and internet access |
| Verification | Full KYC required | Varies by activity, route, risk and jurisdiction |
How CryptoGigs Works
For Freelancers (Sellers)
- Create a gig at /gigs/create — describe your service, set your price in USD, choose a delivery timeframe
- Receive orders — buyers may place orders; use escrow only where the live route shows verified funding and custody terms
- Deliver your work — upload files and mark the order as delivered
- Get paid — if the live route supports verified escrow and a successful release, follow its displayed settlement terms
For Clients (Buyers)
- Browse gigs at /gigs — filter by category, price, and delivery time
- Place an order — select your crypto and chain, add requirements
- Review payment instructions — fund only an address or contract shown by a verified live route, after reconciling its custody terms
- Receive delivery — review the work, request revisions if needed, then approve
Escrow Protection
Eligible CryptoGigs transactions may use an escrow arrangement — verify the live route and funded custody state:
- Buyer holds one key
- Seller holds one key
- Arbitrator (CoinExchange) holds one key
If a verified live route uses 2-of-3 custody, funds should move only under that route's actual signature and contract terms; verify them before funding:
- The seller can't take the money without delivering
- The buyer can't take back the money after receiving good work
- If there's a dispute, the designated dispute process reviews the submitted evidence under the published terms
